Abstract:
Embedded aluminum infiltration process tests of industrial pure titanium TA2 were carried out. In order to obtain the best process parameters and reduce the number of tests, 9 orthogonal test schemes were designed with Al powder content, holding time and holding temperature as the factors. SEM, EDS and XRD were used to analyze the section micromorphology and phase composition of the aluminum infiltration layers, and micro-Vickers hardness tester and friction and wear testing machine were used to detect the hardness and tribological properties of the aluminum infiltration layers. The influence of different embedded aluminum infiltration process parameters on the structure and performance of aluminum infiltration layers was studied. The results show that when Al powder content in the infiltrant is 15%, the insulation time is 4 h,and the insulation temperature is 900 ℃, the wear resistance of the infiltration layer is best, the average friction coefficient is the minimum, and the hardness increases obviously. The Al powder content in the infiltrant has the greatest impact on the wear resistance of the infiltration layer, followed by the holding temperature.
