Abstract: In recent years, there are a variety of new technologies for steel surface enhancement. The preparation technology, formation mechanism, mechanical properties of carbide ceramic reinforced layer on the steel base surface were explored, the current problems and solutions were put forward. The aim is to improve the mechanical properties and service performance of steel under harsh working conditions, and to promote the further development of steel matrix composite materials in the field of wear-resistant materials.
