Abstract:
In forging production, process parameters and anvil shape are the main factors affecting the quality and dimensional accuracy of thermal spindle forgings. Finite element models of drawing, chamfering and rounding were established by using finite element software Deform-3D, and the process simulation was carried out. The stability of each process was compared and analyzed mainly from the aspects of internal stress-strain state and dimensional accuracy of forgings, and a reasonable forging process was determined. The results show that when the compression amount of 25% is used in drawing and chamfering, the core position of the forging has good quality and low tensile stress. Chamfering with trapezoidal anvil and rounding with arc anvil are conducive to improving the dimensional accuracy of forgings.
