Abstract:
Because of its excellent mechanical properties and chemical corrosion resistance, metal matrix composites have wide application prospects in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, electronics industry and other fields. The rapid development of laser additive manufacturing technology has opened up a new path for the preparation of metal matrix composites. The application of laser additive manufacturing technology in the field of metal matrix composite processing was reviewed, including the technical principle, key elements and research progress of typical metal matrix composites. Firstly, the working principles, advantages and limitations of selective laser sintering, selective laser melting and laser metal deposition were described in detail. Secondly, the key elements affecting the preparation of metal matrix composites, such as powder type, powder characteristics and reinforcement, were analyzed in detail. Finally, the research progress of laser additive manufacturing technology in the processing of typical metal matrix composites was systematically analyzed, and the future research direction was prospected.
