脉冲磁致振荡对SWRH82B硬线钢方坯及其盘条质量的影响

    Effects of Pulsed Magneto-oscillation on Quality of SWRH82B Hard Wire Steel Billet and Its Wire Rod

    • 摘要: SWRH82B硬线钢在连铸生产过程中易产生严重的中心偏析并遗传至热轧盘条,形成心部马氏体,进而导致拉拔断裂。为改善铸坯中心偏析、提高产品质量,利用脉冲磁致振荡(简称PMO)技术对SWRH82B硬线钢连铸方坯进行均质化处理,提升了其铸坯及热轧盘条的微观组织均匀性。结果表明,经PMO处理后,SWRH82B铸坯中心等轴晶率由19.7%提升至26.0%,中心缩孔由1级降为0.5级,中心碳偏析指数由1.20降低至1.10,中心区域Cr、Mn元素偏析现象基本消除,盘条心部马氏体异常组织明显减小,由2.0~2.5级降为0~0.5级,有利于降低盘条断裂倾向。

       

      Abstract: SWRH82B hard wire steel is prone to severe center segregation and inheritance to hot-rolled wire rod in the continuous casting production process, forming core martensite, which in turn leads to pull-out fracture. In order to improve the central segregation of the cast billets and enhance product quality, the pulsed magneto oscillation(PMO)technology to homogenize the SWRH82B hard wire steel continuous casting billet was used, which improved the quality of the cast billet and the microstructure uniformity of the hot-rolled wire rod. The results show that after PMO treatment, the central equiaxial grain area rate of SWRH82B cast billet increases from 19.7% to 26.0%. The degree of central shrinkage porosity decreases from level 1 to 0.5, the central carbon segregation index reduces from 1.20 to 1.10, and the segregation of Cr and Mn elements in the central area is almost eliminated. The abnormal martensite structure in the center of the rod noticeably reduces, decreasing from levels 2.0-2.5 to levels 0-0.5, which is beneficial in reducing the tendency for rod breakage.
