Abstract:
With the increasing demand for material properties in industrial applications, the comprehensive evaluation of the bake-hardening properties and mechanical properties has become particularly important. The study aim is to establish a set of evaluation methods to comprehensively analyze the mechanical strength, plasticity and variation characteristics of aluminum-silicon alloy after bake-hardening. By combining experimental and theoretical assumptions, the mechanical properties of aluminum-silicon alloy after bake-hardening were studied by setting different baking conditions, and the corresponding mathematical model was proposed for quantitative characterization. The results show that the proposed evaluation method can effectively measure the comprehensive mechanical properties of aluminum-silicon alloy after bake-hardening. Accordingly, the best baking strengthening process can be determined, which provides a scientific basis for the process optimization design and application of aluminum-silicon alloy materials.
