Abstract:
Epoxy resin coatings, with their excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and low cost, hold significant potential for marine equipment corrosion protection. For complex environment usage requirements, surface grafting and coating methods were employed to modify performance-enhancing reinforcements such as carbon nanotubes and carbon fibers, which enabled the development of multifunctional, multi-scale and functionalized epoxy resin coatings. The coatings were applied to the surface protection of equipment, so that the coatings have better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The realization of long-term protection of marine equipment will be one of the important development directions of epoxy resin and other organic coatings.
