Abstract:
In order to improve the welding quality of porthole-die extruded 0.5wt%GNP/7075Al composite products, solution treatment with different durations were carried out. The results show that at a solution temperature of 470 ℃, a solution duration of 60 min achieve the optimal tensile strength and elongation. Further extension of the solution holding time leads to a decrease in the mechanical properties of the extrudates. The tensile strength and elongation of solution-treated specimens improve significantly after aging. Among them, the specimen aged after 60 min of solution and aging treatment exhibits a tensile strength of 407.42 MPa and an elongation of 1.81%, showing the best welding effect and mechanical properties.
