Research Progress on Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of High Entropy Alloys

The basic characteristics and mechanical properties of high entropy alloys, such as hardness, compression properties, tensile properties and toughness at room temperature were reviewed. The effects of alloy elements and preparation process on the mechanical properties of alloys were introduced. How to expand the application range of high entropy alloys and how to improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of alloys by adjusting the microstructure of alloys may be the next research interests.
