Research Progress of Graphene Reinforced Copper Tungsten Electrical Contact Materials

    • With the development of power system, the demand for circuit capacity continues to increase, and the circuit that need to ensure circuit safety bear higher voltage and larger capacity, which puts forward higher requirements for active high voltage contact materials. The graphene technology provides a new research direction for improving the properties of electrical contact materials for SF6 high voltage circuit breakers. A review on the research status and anti-ablation theory of graphene-enhanced copper-tungsten electrical contact materials is presented, which provides guidance for the preparation of new high-performance SF6 high-voltage circuit breaker electrical contact products with long electrical life, and the application scenario is prospected.
