Abstract
The high-speed dry cutting test of nickel-based superalloy(GH4169) was carried out with cermets designed by independent components of different carbon-to-nitrogen ratios. The cutting performance of cermets tools for processing GH4169 nickel-based superalloys was analyzed from the aspects of flank wear, flank wear and cutting force. Through scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) scanning analysis, the wear mechanism of cermets blades with different carbon-to-nitrogen ratios for cutting nickel-based super-alloys was studied. The results show that when TiC∶TiN=7∶3 is in cermets, the substrate performance and cutting performance in the case of Vc=100 m/min, ap=0.5 mm and f=0.10 mm/r are best.
